Xianju Pharmaceutical announced that the company recently received the "Drug Registration Certificate" issued by the National Medical Products Administration for progesterone soft capsules. The specifications of progesterone soft capsules are 0.1g and 0.2g, with the reference preparation being the original imported progesterone soft capsules developed by Belgium's Besins Healthcare, marketed as Angeitant. The reference preparation, developed by Besins Healthcare, was approved for market in Belgium in September 1981 for the 0.1g specification and in January 2006 for the 0.2g specification. Progesterone soft capsules are indicated for functional disorders caused by luteal deficiency and are helpful for pregnancy. Besins Healthcare's progesterone soft capsules are already on the market in several countries, including the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Spain.
