Hotan County, in the Hotan Prefecture of Xinjiang, is located on the southern edge of the Taklimakan Desert, with large temperature differences between day and night and long hours of sunlight, providing an ideal environment for the growth of roses. Here, roses are not only the "ecological guardians" for windbreak and sand fixation, but also the "wealth flowers" for increasing farmers' income. At present, it is the season for harvesting over 70,000 mu of roses locally. The value of roses is not only reflected in cultivation and processing, but also drives the local cultural and tourism development. In the rose base, many tourists come to admire the flowers and immerse themselves in the rose sea for immersive experiences and photo opportunities.
