Red weather alerts for high temperatures issued in multiple regions.

Today, under the influence of a high-altitude warm ridge, the high temperature weather in Linfen City, Shanxi Province continues, with most areas reaching temperatures above 37C, and several counties and districts reaching temperatures above 40C. The meteorological observatory in Linfen City, Shanxi Province has upgraded to a red alert for high temperatures. The warning areas are: Daning County, Yaodu District, Xiangfen County, Houma City, Hongtong County, Quwo County, and Huozhou City. It is expected that in the next 24 hours, the highest temperature in the warning areas will rise to above 40C. This morning, the meteorological observatory in Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province upgraded to a red alert for high temperatures: it is expected that during the day, the highest temperature in the 11 districts and 2 counties under the jurisdiction of Xi'an City, as well as the new Xixian New Area, will rise to above 40C.
