According to the Chinese website, Shen Xiang, Director of the West Asia and Africa Division of the Ministry of Commerce, stated at a press conference on May 21 that the Ministry of Commerce will take the implementation of the "Top Ten Partner Action Plan" as the main line in the next step, closely coordinate and cooperate with African partners, and promote the deep integration of the China-Africa industry chain supply chain. First, build the China-Africa industrial cooperation growth circle in five regions in Africa. Encourage Chinese companies to combine the resource endowment and industrial development planning of African countries to comprehensively carry out various projects such as industrial parks, logistics facilities, and power energy, enhancing the agglomeration effect of industries. Second, promote the integrated development of investment and trade. Currently, Chinese companies have carried out such cooperation with African partners, conducting agricultural product ordering planting, deep processing, and other cooperation based on the needs of the Chinese market and the characteristic industrial advantages of African countries, improving the added value and market competitiveness of African primary products. The Ministry of Commerce will continue to encourage both sides' enterprises to seize the opportunities of China's expanding opening up and achieve more investment cooperation results. Third, support cooperation among small and medium enterprises. Small and medium-sized enterprises have the characteristics of "small, fast, and agile", and play an important role in employment. The Ministry of Commerce will actively promote cooperation between Chinese and African small and medium-sized enterprises, organize activities for small and medium-sized enterprises to connect, support young entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurs in China and Africa to carry out innovative entrepreneurial cooperation, and open up broader space for cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises in both sides. At the same time, the Ministry of Commerce will coordinate resources, conduct talent training for small and medium-sized enterprises, and promote investment cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises in China and Africa through various forms such as exhibitions, trade delegations, and visits.
