The China Meteorological Administration has raised the emergency response level for major meteorological disasters of heavy rain to Level 3.
It is expected that from the 21st to the 24th, there will be a new round of heavy rainfall in the southern regions of China. Parts of Chongqing in the southwest, southeastern Sichuan, southeastern Guizhou, northern Guangxi, northern Guangdong, northern and southwestern Hunan, southeastern Hubei, southern Anhui, northeastern Jiangxi, central Zhejiang, and northwestern Fujian are expected to receive accumulated rainfall of 100 to 130 millimeters, with some areas receiving over 200 millimeters. This rainfall will be accompanied by severe convective weather such as thunderstorms, strong winds, or hail. After comprehensive analysis and emergency consultations, the China Meteorological Administration has raised the level of emergency response for major meteorological disasters from level four to level three.
