The survey shows that US trade policy is undermining the confidence of exporters in many countries.
On May 20, the Allianz Group of Germany released a global trade survey report, surveying a total of 4,500 exporters from nine countries including China, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Singapore, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The survey showed that US trade policies are weakening the confidence of exporters from multiple countries. The Allianz Group of Germany stated that the unpredictability of US trade policies has led to a decrease in confidence among exporters. 42% of exporters expect their turnover to decrease by 2% to 10% over the next 12 months. The survey also showed that some companies are passing on costs to customers through price increases. In the United States, 54% of companies choose to raise prices.
