Musk stated that he commits to serve as CEO of Tesla for the next five years, easing some investors' concerns about his level of dedication to the automaker. Speaking remotely at the Qatar Economic Forum in Doha on Tuesday, Musk discussed his future at Tesla. He criticized a judge in Delaware who had twice ruled against the massive compensation plan awarded to him by Tesla in 2018, but he said he did not believe this issue would affect his decision to continue in the role. Musk said, "Compensation should be commensurate with extraordinary accomplishments, but I am confident that whatever decision a Delaware judge makes will not affect future compensation arrangements." Musk also stated that there is no conflict of interest between the Efficiency Department and his business.
