Hong Kong hosts New Productivity Forum focusing on capital market reform and development.

The first event of the Hong Kong New Productivity Forum with the theme of "Building a world-class capital market" was held in Hong Kong on the 20th. The event focused on discussing the reform and development path of Hong Kong's capital market, and promoting the capital market to better empower the economy and innovation and technology industries. Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam delivered a speech via video, stating that Hong Kong, with the advantages of internal and external connectivity under the principle of "one country, two systems," is an international financial, shipping, and trading center. Faced with various challenges, Hong Kong will make good use of the interconnected capital markets with the mainland, the free and open business environment, and the interconnected world trade network to fully develop innovation and technology, injecting momentum into the development of new productivity in Hong Kong.
