Zhejiang: Strengthening the tackling of basic models and vertical models.

The People's Government of Zhejiang Province recently issued "Several Measures to Support the Innovation and Development of Artificial Intelligence", proposing to strengthen the tackling of basic models and vertical models. It focuses on key core technologies and major needs of artificial intelligence, focusing on high-performance computing power, programming models and training frameworks, computing clusters, database systems, and other key software and hardware technologies. According to the principle of "mature one, initiate one", the province will organize and implement major science and technology special projects, carry out key core technology tackling, strengthen the development of "core-model linkage", and provide up to 10 million yuan in financial subsidies from the provincial government for individual projects. Establish a mechanism for the construction of provincial innovation consortia and the implementation of major science and technology special projects, and provide up to 30 million yuan in subsidies for major projects led by provincial innovation consortia, with three levels of government provincial, municipal, and county collaborating.
