The exercise to prevent floods and fight floods in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River was jointly organized by multiple departments with participation of over 2000 people in 15 subjects.

On May 20, the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, the Ministry of Emergency Management, and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government jointly held the "Emergency Mission2025" Yangtze River Upper Reaches Flood Control and Disaster Relief Exercise. This exercise simulated a major flood in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, focusing on the hierarchical and progressive warning and response process of flood control and disaster relief, highlighting the coordination and linkage between upstream and downstream provinces and the joint dispatch of reservoir groups. There were 15 subjects set up, with the main exercise site in Hechuan District, Chongqing, and more than 2000 participants from various units.
