The National Food and Material Reserve Bureau today announced the summer grain procurement policy for the year 2025. It is preliminarily estimated that the procurement volume of new season summer grains will reach around 200 billion kilograms. This year, China will continue to implement the minimum purchase price policy for wheat and rice in the main producing areas, and the purchase prices and quantities have been publicly announced. Currently, wheat in regions such as Hubei and Sichuan has been gradually listed, with overall good quality. According to the schedule, the six main wheat producing areas, including Henan, have accumulated a total of 160 billion kilograms of reserve capacity, which can meet the needs of summer grain procurement.
