Starting from June 30th, there will be a direct flight from Chengdu to Athens. Chengdu will become the only city in the central and western regions of China with a direct flight to Athens.

According to Sichuan Airlines, the company plans to officially open the Chengdu-Istanbul-Athens route on June 30. Departing from Chengdu, it will take over 13 hours to arrive in Athens. After the opening of the Chengdu-Istanbul-Athens route, Chengdu will become the only city in the central and western regions of China with a direct flight to Athens.
