AMD announced on May 19th that they have reached a final agreement to sell ZT Systems' data center infrastructure manufacturing business to integrated manufacturing solutions company Sanmina for a transaction value of $3 billion. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of this year. Last August, AMD agreed to acquire server manufacturer ZT Systems for a transaction value of $4.9 billion in cash and stock. AMD stated at the time that they would retain the company's design and customer teams and sell its manufacturing division.
