The Interim Measures for the Safety Management of Civil Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in Wuhan will be implemented starting from May 29, 2025. This is also the first normative document for the safety management of civil unmanned aerial vehicles in Wuhan City. On the 19th, the relevant person in charge of the Security Management Branch of the Wuhan Public Security Bureau interpreted the "Measures". It is reported that the "Measures" standardize the production, sales, and use of drones in Wuhan, establish the basic principles of safety, order, service development, classified management, and efficient coordination. Specifically, it publicly discloses the suitable airspace, controlled airspace, and temporary controlled airspace; elaborates on the registration of civil unmanned aerial vehicles, requirements for identification plates, and behavior norms for operators.
