Wanneng Electric Power: Approval for the construction of a 1.4 million kW pumped storage and two 100,000 kW wind power projects, striving to start construction within this year.

Wanneng Power recently stated during institutional research that by the end of the first quarter of 2025, the 1 million kilowatt Qianyingzi coal-fired power project in Anhui will be put into operation, with the operational installed capacity increasing to 14.66 million kilowatts and the construction period installed capacity decreasing to 1.1 million kilowatts. There are two new energy projects under construction: an 800,000 kilowatt PV project in Xinjiang and a 300,000 kilowatt wind power project in Anhui Province, with construction work progressing smoothly. There are also plans to approve the construction of a 1.4 million kilowatt pumped storage project and two 100,000 kilowatt wind power projects, with efforts being made to start construction within the year.
