Chinese President Xi Jinping appoints and removes ambassadors overseas.
President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China, in accordance with the decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, appoints and dismisses the following ambassadors:
1. Dismisses Long Zhou from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Malawi; appoints Lu Xu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Malawi.
2. Dismisses Wang Lixin from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Maldives; appoints Kong Xianhua as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Maldives.
3. Dismisses Zhu Liying from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Mauritius; appoints Huang Shifang as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Mauritius.
4. Dismisses Xiao Han from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Senegal; appoints Li Zhigang as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Senegal.
5. Dismisses Guo Min from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Azerbaijan; appoints Lu Mei as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
6. Dismisses Fan Yong from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia; appoints Li Xinwei as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia.
7. Dismisses Guo Haiyan from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana; appoints Yang Yang as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.
8. Dismisses Dai Bing from the position of Deputy Permanent Representative and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations; appoints Sun Lei as Deputy Permanent Representative and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations.
