The Lianli Support Group and the Lee Presidential Committee have established a ceasefire committee.

The United Nations Support Mission in Libya announced on the 18th the establishment of a ceasefire committee with the Libyan Presidential Council. The UN Support Mission released a statement saying that the establishment of the ceasefire committee with the Libyan Presidential Council aims to achieve a permanent ceasefire and focus on protecting all civilians, reaching an agreement on security affairs in Tripoli. The statement mentioned that the ceasefire committee reflects the commitment of all parties to avoid further escalation of the situation and ensure compliance with international humanitarian law and international human rights law.
