AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd.: Significant Increase in C919 Component Deliveries

"The specific delivery quantity of parts for the C919 aircraft by Company C is not convenient to disclose due to commercial cooperation requirements, but it will increase significantly compared to the 2024 fiscal year." On May 15th, AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. responded to the supply situation of relevant C919 components. As the main supplier of the aircraft's main body structure components, AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. undertakes the research and production tasks of five working packages including the C919 outer wing box, slats, flaps, ailerons, and center fuselage. AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. stated that its research and production of aircraft components products have covered all domestic civil large and medium-sized aircraft main models, and it has undertaken the research and development of key core components for aircraft bodies, wings, and other parts for C909 aircraft, C919 aircraft, AG600 aircraft, and the New Air series aircraft. It is the largest aircraft body structure supplier for the above-mentioned aircraft models. In addition, AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. also participates in the design and manufacturing of aircraft parts for the B737 aircraft and A320 aircraft. In April 2025, a personnel from the China Air Transport Association revealed to Caixin that China Commercial Aircraft Company hopes to increase the production capacity of the C919 from 50 aircraft to 75 aircraft by 2025. On January 17th, the then member of the China Commercial Aircraft Party Committee and Deputy General Manager Shen Bo stated at the Shanghai Two Sessions that the production capacity of C919 aircraft is expected to reach 50 aircraft by 2025, with an estimated 30 aircraft to be delivered.
