Recently, reporters learned from on-site visits that Qingdao Mobile, in conjunction with Laoshan District Big Data Bureau, is deploying the largest scale 5G-A base station equipment in East China in Laoshan District to explore the frontier technology demonstration area of 5G-A integration. Through the integration of multiple platforms and low-altitude supervision, they have completed over 16,000 flights totaling more than 3,400 hours of flight time and approximately 53,000 kilometers of flight distance. This has achieved fully unmanned drone flights, making drone use as simple as "hailing a ride with DiDi." This is the first large-scale 5G-A integrated wireless network in East China, establishing a network that combines communication, perception, and computing technologies to continuously cover the low-altitude space below 300 meters. The network has already completed three major application pilots: unmanned aircraft detection, electronic fence intrusion alert, and unmanned aircraft flight trajectory tracking. (Sci-Tech Daily)
