Nissan will be collecting early retirement employees in Japan.
Nissan Motor Company, currently undergoing restructuring, will be collecting applications for early retirement from employees in Japan in July and August. This is the first time in 18 years that such a collection has been conducted domestically since 2007. The target employees are those involved in business and accounting work, excluding those in the development, production, and design departments. This is part of a global initiative to reduce staff by 20,000 people, and notifications have already been issued to employees.
