According to the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China, on May 19, 2025, the Ministry of Commerce issued Announcement No. 18 of 2025, deciding to initiate an anti-dumping investigation into imported polyoxymethylene originating from the United States, the European Union, Taiwan, and Japan. The investigation in this case has now concluded, and in accordance with Article 25 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations, the investigating authority has made a final ruling. The relevant matters are announced as follows: 1. Final determination: The investigating authority has finally determined that there is dumping of imported polyoxymethylene originating from the United States, the European Union, Taiwan, and Japan, causing substantial damage to the polyoxymethylene industry in mainland China, and there is a causal relationship between the dumping and the substantial damage. 2. Imposition of anti-dumping duties: In accordance with Article 38 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations, the Ministry of Commerce has proposed to the Tariff and Tax Committee of the State Council to impose anti-dumping duties, and the Tariff and Tax Committee of the State Council will make a decision based on the proposal of the Ministry of Commerce. As of May 19, 2025, anti-dumping duties will be imposed on imported polyoxymethylene originating from the United States, the European Union, Taiwan, and Japan.
