China Skylink - Mobile Direct Satellite Service Lands in Laos

China Telecom and the Lao Telecommunications Company Limited held a Tiantong-Mobile Direct Satellite Service launch event in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, on May 16th, marking the official launch of this service in Laos. Representatives from the Chinese and Lao governments, the business community, and the satellite industry chain attended the event. At the event, China Telecom Satellite Company and ETL signed a cooperation agreement to jointly facilitate the application of satellite communication technology in Laos.
