Southern California Edison submitted a $6.2 billion wildfire mitigation plan in the United States.
On May 16, Southern California Edison submitted a wildfire mitigation plan to the California Energy Infrastructure Safety Office for 2026 to 2028, during which they will invest $6.2 billion, install hundreds of miles of underground power lines, and continue to support aerial firefighting assets throughout their service area, including the world's largest helicopter with night firefighting capabilities.
