Shanghai helps to launch more than 20,000 new products on the "fast track" for their debut.
Reporters learned from the press conference held here that, as one of the new measures in the "First-to-Launch Shanghai 3.0" policy, Shanghai has been the first in the country to pilot the facilitation of inspection for imported consumer goods. Since the implementation of this policy, 14 multinational enterprises and 20 consumer product brands have launched over 20,000 new products in China. From January to April this year, Shanghai added 301 new first stores, with 7 being global or Asian first stores, and 41 being national or mainland China first stores. High-level first stores account for 16% of the total, making Shanghai the preferred location and gathering place for domestic and international brands to launch, debut, showcase, and open their first stores.
