On May 16th, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced agreements with several American energy companies, with the potential to secure $60 billion in US investments across multiple energy projects in the UAE. The statement mentioned agreements including oil field development plans with ExxonMobil and INPEX/JODCO, aimed at expanding production capacity in the Abu Dhabi Upper Zakum offshore oil field through phased development. ADNOC also signed a cooperation agreement with Occidental Petroleum to explore increasing natural gas production in the Shah gas field and accelerating the deployment of advanced technologies in the field.
