Shanghai: Speeding up and improving the efficiency of imported economic consumer goods to stimulate new vitality in the consumer market.

On May 16th, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Shanghai Customs jointly held a press conference on the "Facilitation Measures for Inspection of First-time Imported Consumer Goods". At the meeting, in response to the demands of consumer goods headquarters enterprises for customs clearance facilitation, Shanghai Customs implemented the relevant arrangements of the General Administration of Customs and jointly released the "Notice on Carrying out Pilot Measures for Facilitation of Inspection of First-time Imported Consumer Goods" with the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce. This innovative model of "white list + differentiated qualified assessment" is the first of its kind in the country, speeding up and improving the efficiency of importing consumer goods for "first exhibitions, first performances, first stores, and first launches", significantly enhancing the satisfaction of enterprises.
