An Ernst & Young spokesperson recently stated in an interview with reporters that in recent years, with the gradual implementation of green development-related policies, companies are paying more and more attention to practicing ESG concepts. At the same time, AI, big data, and other digital technologies have broad prospects in the field of ESG, and the existing ESG disclosure mechanism can promote the implementation of AI governance. Zhang Mingyi, managing partner of Ernst & Young's North China region, analyzed that currently, listed companies mainly practice ESG concepts from three aspects: environmental, social, and governance. In terms of the environment, this includes setting clear energy conservation and emission reduction targets, using advanced energy-saving technologies and equipment to optimize production processes, and reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions; establishing a sound environmental management system, and regularly conducting environmental monitoring and assessment.
