Ren Dong was elected as the mayor of Suzhou City, Anhui Province.

On May 16th, the fifth session of the sixth People's Congress of Suzhou City in Anhui Province was held in the auditorium of the Municipal Government Center. The meeting voted to pass the election method for the fifth session of the sixth People's Congress of the city and the list of chief and deputy vote counters, and elected Ren Dong as the mayor of Suzhou Municipal People's Government in accordance with the law. A constitutional oath-taking ceremony was also held.
