Tesla announced on May 16th that Jack Hartung will join the company's board of directors, effective June 1st. Hartung's most recent position was President and Chief Strategic Officer of the chain restaurant Chipotle Mexican Grill, where he previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Administrative Officer. Before joining Chipotle, Hartung worked at McDonald's for nearly 20 years.
