Macau: The electronic payment transactions in the catering industry in the first quarter increased by 2.2% year-on-year to 3.52 billion Macau patacas.

According to the Zhongtong Finance and Economics APP, data from the Macao Statistics and Census Bureau shows that in the first quarter of 2025, the electronic payment transaction volume of the catering industry is expected to increase by 2.2% to 3.52 billion yuan (MOP), while the transaction volume of the retail industry is expected to decrease by 17.4% to 13.12 billion yuan.
