Today, the Ministry of Natural Resources announced the revised "City Planning Health Assessment Procedures for National Land Spatial Planning", which introduces a series of new requirements for city planning health assessment. The new version of the city planning health assessment procedures includes 110 indicators, paying more attention to the actual feelings of the people and putting urban safety and resilience in a more prominent position. The Ministry of Natural Resources stated that the revision of the "City Planning Health Assessment Procedures for National Land Spatial Planning" mainly reflects new requirements and new ideas in urban work and land spatial governance. New indicators such as "flood retention area and overlapping area of urban development boundaries" have been added to guide the scientific layout of urban areas and reduce disaster losses. In addition, new indicators such as "number of water sources" have been added to promote cities to achieve multiple water source guarantees and enhance their ability to respond to water sources pollution accidents. At the same time, monitoring and assessment of indicators such as the progress of retrofitting old gas pipelines and controlling the safe distance of pipelines, as well as ensuring space for parking for electric bicycles, have been specifically added to reduce safety hazards from the source.
