Meteorological drought yellow warning continues: severe drought in southwestern Shaanxi, western Henan, eastern Gansu and other areas.

The China Meteorological Administration continues to issue a yellow warning for meteorological drought on May 16 at 18:00. According to real-time monitoring of meteorological drought, severe and above meteorological drought exists in provinces such as Shaanxi, Henan, and Gansu, among which southwestern Shaanxi, western Henan, and eastern Gansu are particularly dry. It is expected that in the next 3 days, the aforementioned drought areas will continue to receive little rainfall, and meteorological drought will be maintained or even worsen.
