Universal Music's new company in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is officially open.

On May 16th, Universal Music Group's subsidiary, Universal Music Greater China, established a new company in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau - Universal Music Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Company. In September 2024, Universal Music Greater China announced the establishment of the Universal Music Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area label, making Universal Music the first international mainstream music company to set up a music label targeting the Greater Bay Area. Chen Zhiguang, the head of Universal Music Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Company, stated that they will leverage Hong Kong's experience and advantages to help artists in the Greater Bay Area reach international stages.
