On May 16, WeRide announced the launch of the first fully driverless Robotaxi fleet in the Middle East in Abu Dhabi. Starting from the second quarter of 2025, WeRide's Robotaxi fleet will conduct fully driverless trial operations on public roads in Abu Dhabi without safety drivers. This marks another milestone in the development of Abu Dhabi's smart mobility system.
