From May 15th, Xinjiang will operate a one-stop direct EMU train service between Urumqi and Hami, with the travel time between the two cities further shortened. With this, Urumqi in Xinjiang has achieved "one-stop direct" train service with 7 other important cities in the region. The one-way travel time for this train service is 2 hours and 29 minutes, saving up to 58 minutes compared to other EMU trains between the two cities. The D8808 train will depart from Urumqi station at 17:06 daily and arrive at Hami station at 19:35 on the same day; the D8805 train will depart from Hami station at 12:34 daily and arrive at Urumqi station at 15:03 on the same day.
