India's SENSEX30 index opened down 0.17% at 82392.63 points. Among the component stocks, JSW STEEL opened up 0.97%, ADANI PORTS rose 0.69%, and ULTRATECH CEMENT gained 0.51%; on the downside, INDUSTRIAL BANK OF INDIA opened down 5.68%, KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK fell 2.62%, and BHARTI AIRTEL dropped 1.85%.
