On May 15, the global first 100 units of unmanned pure electric mining trucks "Huadian Ruichi" were put into operation at a press conference held in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia. XCMG delivered 100 ZNK95 pure electric unmanned driving mining trucks to Huadian Yimin opencast coal mine, officially put into group operation. This project has the world's first set of intelligent battery swapping, unmanned mining truck cluster operation equipment and system, integrated with core technologies such as unmanned driving, 5G communication, intelligent battery swapping, and intelligent safety control, which can achieve continuous operation of -40C pure electric drive system and fully automatic battery swapping within 6 minutes, with an operating efficiency of 120% compared to manned driving. According to the appraisal of the expert group, the overall technology of the project has reached the international leading level. Yang Dongsheng, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, said that this time XCMG collaborated with China Huadian, starting from pure electric unmanned mining trucks, gradually extending to a full range of equipment such as unmanned excavators, unmanned rock drills, and loaders, to create a fully-scenario zero-carbon unmanned mining solution.
