According to the Smart Financial News APP, Cui Dongshu, Secretary-General of the China Passenger Car Association, stated in a post that in April, the installed capacity of power batteries in China was 54.1GWh, a decrease of 4.3% from the previous month and an increase of 52.8% year-on-year. Among them, the installed capacity of ternary batteries was 9.3GWh, accounting for 17.2% of the total installed capacity, a decrease of 7.0% month-on-month and a decrease of 6.3% year-on-year; the installed capacity of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 44.8GWh, accounting for 82.8% of the total installed capacity, a decrease of 3.8% month-on-month and an increase of 75.9% year-on-year. From January to April, the cumulative installed capacity of power batteries in China was 184.3GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 52.8%. Among them, the cumulative installed capacity of ternary batteries was 34.3GWh, accounting for 18.6% of the total installed capacity, a cumulative year-on-year decrease of 15.9%; the cumulative installed capacity of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 150.0GWh, accounting for 81.4% of the total installed capacity, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 88.0%.
