At the Beijing Million Reduction and Disability Improvement Project Promotion Meeting held yesterday, it was learned that Beijing has currently built an efficient stroke emergency rescue system, achieving full coverage of stroke treatment, and the number and efficiency of thrombolysis and thrombectomy rank among the top in the country. Yesterday, the 2025 version of the stroke emergency rescue map was also released, covering 86 hospitals in Beijing. So far, Beijing has built 46 third-level stroke centers and 24 second-level stroke centers, covering all 16 districts. In 2024, a total of 8631 cases of acute ischemic stroke thrombolysis and 2586 cases of interventional recanalization were completed, with a thrombolysis rate of 395.3 cases per million population and a thrombectomy rate of 118.4 cases, far exceeding the national average. By optimizing the connection between pre-hospital emergency rescue and in-hospital treatment, Beijing has achieved the goal of "thrombolysis without leaving the district."
