Australia was originally planned to launch its first independently developed carrier rocket at the Bowen Spaceport in northern Queensland on the 15th local time. However, half an hour before the launch window opened, the rocket nose cone fell to the ground, causing the launch to be canceled again. The rocket development and manufacturing company Gimore Space Technology said that early inspections showed no damage to the rocket or launch pad. A new nose cone will be transported from a factory on the Gold Coast to the launch site. Follow-up investigations will take two weeks. Just the day before, the scheduled launch on May 15 was canceled due to problems with the ground support system.
