According to the Wise Finance and Economics APP, on Thursday, the gold sector rose against the market trend. As of the time of publication, Gold Fields (GFI.US) rose by more than 2.3%, Royal Gold (RGLD.US) rose by 0.9%, Barrick Mining (B.US) rose by nearly 1%, and Harmony Gold (HMY.US) rose by more than 1.3%. Spot gold returned to above the 3200 level, rising by more than 0.8% intraday. In terms of news, Federal Reserve Chairman Powell stated that the Fed is adjusting its overall policy framework to address significant changes in the inflation and interest rate outlook after the 2020 pandemic. Powell said, "Since 2020, the economic environment has undergone significant changes, and our assessment will reflect our considerations of these changes." The Fed adopted the current framework five years ago and launched an evaluation of the framework this year.
