In April, the national industrial feed production volume increased year-on-year and month-on-month.

According to the National Feed Production Situation released today by the Livestock and Veterinary Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China and the China Feed Industry Association, in April 2025, the national industrial feed production reached 27.53 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 4.2% and a year-on-year increase of 9.0%. Among them, the year-on-year growth rates of compound feed, concentrated feed, and additive premixed feed were 9.1%, 6.5%, and 9.7% respectively. The ex-factory prices of feed products decreased significantly year-on-year, with a slight increase in the ex-factory prices of compound feed and concentrated feed, while the ex-factory prices of additive premixed feed mainly decreased month-on-month.
