He warned that due to the pressure of Trump's tariffs on Walmart's costs, Walmart is planning to raise prices on certain goods starting later this month. Some product prices will remain unchanged. McMillon said, "We will do our best to keep prices as low as possible, but considering the magnitude of the tariffs, even at the reduced levels this week, given the reality of thin retail profit margins, we cannot bear all the pressure."
