On the evening of May 15th, at the analyst conference call for Alibaba's fiscal fourth quarter and full year 2025, Alibaba Group CEO Daniel Zhang said that in the past fiscal year, the "customer-first, AI-driven" strategy has continued to yield results, with core business growth accelerating. The group has essentially formed a development structure of AI + cloud, e-commerce, and other internet platform businesses. Zhang said, "In this quarter, the penetration of our AI products in the industry is rapidly expanding. In addition to fast adoption of AI products in internet, smart cars, finance, and online education industries, many traditional sectors such as agriculture and traditional manufacturing are also actively exploring AI applications, with significant growth in demand." During the call, Zhang also shared two major trends in the field of AI: first, AI applications in large and medium-sized enterprises are beginning to penetrate user-side scenarios from internal systems; second, customers actively using AI products are expanding from large and medium-sized enterprises to a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises. Zhang said, "In the fiscal year 2026, we will continue to focus on the core business growth of e-commerce and AI + cloud, shaping a second growth curve with technology as the core driver in the medium to long term."
