TikTok launches new feature AI Alive, instantly turning photos into short videos

Short video platform TikTok has launched its first AI-driven creative feature, "TikTok AI Alive", which is directly embedded in TikTok Stories and can instantly turn static photos into dynamic videos. The AI Alive feature is located within the camera interface of TikTok Stories. After selecting a photo, users can find the "AI Alive" icon in the editing toolbar. This feature uses AI technology to add elements such as dynamic effects, environmental effects, and creative effects to static images, creating short videos. According to TikTok, users can use AI Alive to process landscape photos into videos with dynamic effects such as sky and cloud movements, or convert group photos into dynamic clips with facial expressions and motion details.
