After the latest adjustment of tariffs between China and the United States in these two days, many foreign trade enterprises in Shanghai, Jiangxi, and other areas have resumed supplying the American market, quickly recovering the production and promotion of export products to the United States, and the factories are busy. During these two days, international trade logistics also welcomed a peak in shipments to the United States, and the volume of consultations at international freight forwarding companies has also surged. Reporters learned from multiple freight forwarding companies that with the adjustment of tariff policies, the available space on ships for shipments to the United States at the end of May is nearly full. At the same time, shipping companies such as Maersk, Evergreen, and COSCO have also issued price increase notifications, with shipping rates for each container increasing by 500-1500 dollars. Using the example of the Shanghai Port to New York route, the current quoted price for a 40-foot container is around 4300 dollars.
