The Census and Statistics Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government released statistics on March's volume and prices of external merchandise trade on the 15th. The data showed that in the first quarter of 2025, Hong Kong's overall export volume and import volume increased by 8.7% and 7.3% respectively compared to the same period last year. The statistics also revealed that in March 2025, Hong Kong's overall export volume and import volume increased by 15.8% and 13.5% year-on-year. After seasonal adjustments, the data showed that in the first quarter of 2025, the overall export volume and import volume of goods increased by 9.5% and 7.5% respectively.
