The Shanghai Stock Exchange holds a symposium for fund sales institutions.

In order to promote the entry of medium and long-term funds into the market, build a high-quality development ecosystem for index investment, and enhance the ability to serve investors, the Shanghai Stock Exchange held a special symposium for fund sales agencies. Participants at the meeting believe that the current period is an opportunity for the development of index investment. Index investment, with its significant advantages such as risk diversification, high transparency, and convenient trading, has been recognized by an increasing number of investors. Participants also stated that since last year, investors have accelerated layout through ETFs, leading to a significant increase in the number of index fund users. Fund sales agencies are also strategically focusing on index business by increasing the supply of index fund products, strengthening index fund education, innovating index investment service tools, and expanding index fund advisory services, among other means. These agencies are increasing their resources investment to promote the development of index investment business.
