The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow warning for meteorological drought at 18:00 on May 15: According to real-time monitoring of meteorological drought, severe and above-average meteorological drought exists in provinces such as Shaanxi, Henan, and Gansu, among which areas in the southwest of Shaanxi and the west of Henan are particularly dry. It is expected that in the next 3 days, there will be moderate to heavy rain in the northeast of Jiangnan and most parts of Guangxi, which will be favorable for easing meteorological drought. However, there will be little rain in other drought areas, and the meteorological drought will continue or worsen.
