On May 15, the spokesperson for the Department of Commerce, He Yongqian, responded by saying that the U.S. is abusing export control measures, unjustly restricting Chinese chip products under false pretenses, seriously damaging the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies, seriously threatening the stability of the global semiconductor supply chain, seriously undermining market rules and the international economic and trade order.
